It might look pebbly in the second photograph because the pie had been sitting in the fridge covered in plastic wrap overnight, so the top has whatever creases the plastic wrap did. It looks sort of pebbly(I am not being critical) but wonder if that is just the way it sliced? L like cookie crusts much more than graham cracker crusts so think this must be a great recipe. BTW, I am making the wonderful Marcella Hazan lasagna tomorrow, made pasta today, meat sauce yesterday.. Mine never looks as perfect in the pan as yours but it never fails to impress. I doubled(or will double) every component to have extra pans to share--as one might imagine, I was in the kitchen all afternoon making noodles!! How was the texture?
