Totally worth the trouble of making them. They have less cocoa, so that taste might be less overwhelming. Also they don't have to be chilled at all. I love to add chocolate chips once I've creamed the butter, egg, vanilla and sugars mixture together. Then I add the semi sweet chips followed by the final blended powdered ingredients. They make a great double chocolate chip cookie. Adding white choc chips also makes a lovely double chocolate cookie. I also just make them drop cookies and once mixed I immediately bake them. My friends eat them in one sitting. I quite enjoy the MS Baking Handbook. You can shift the recipes to suit you, but they are solidly delicious with no changes. I'm very impressed.
