i always cut recipes in half, too (and even if i hadn't been a math major in college, i don't think it would have been that difficult to divide by 2!). these are perfect little poofy snails!

Hee, I am really insensitive to those who are not as great with math :P I split recipes all the time too! And not just in half, but in odd fractions that will fit my pan :)

Yum! That looks like a happy halfway point between cinnamon bun and danish. I like both of those, so I can't imagine I wouldn't like the snails!

I hear you with fractions. Some friends and I had a dumpling-making party and doubled some recipes; they kept tossing me measurements to multiply for them. My favorite biscuit recipe makes 12 biscuits, but I only eat two, so I make 1/6th of that recipe almost every week.

Oh man, do those ever look good! I don't think I've made these. If I recall when I made Dorie's brioche it went toward the sticky buns. I'm so with you on scaling back recipes. I do it all the time, though I do tend to avoid splitting eggs in half if I can, but that's just because I'm lazy :)

I loved these! They are my husband's favorite cinnamon roll ever! It was such a nice change of pace from regular cinnamon rolls.
