I'm looking forward to trying your made from scratch scratch bread (have had fun with the NYT recipe that requires 18 hours of rising and no kneading, though most loaves I make I go the 7-minute knead by hand route). After having a disasterous time today making a moka cake (the cake never rose, I need to buy an oven thermometer) and my frosting was really not great, I typed in Google "should I give up on baking" and the first hit was your site, with the Fettucine Alfredo recipe. 8 open tabs later and I love your blog and have let go of my baking frustrations. I love your comparisons of cake recipes and will surely find them very useful after I get an oven thermometer.
