Blogs I love

The primary reason I follow a blog is because the person cooks like I like to cook. Beautiful photos and engaging dialogue don’t hurt either.

5 second rule – Cheryl makes me think. And she makes me want to cook.

Annie’s Eats – I’m not alone in wondering how Annie manages to balance her blog, her family, her career, and her other hobbies, but it’s fun to watch.

Apple a Day – Not only is Kelsey one of the nicest people out there, but she cooks healthy and creative meals that I love.

Branny Boils Over – Although Branny eats like I eat, her husband does not. But I’ll let it pass, because I was lucky enough to meet them both, and they are such great people.

Cara’s Cravings – This is my go-to site when I am looking for a high-protein meals with creative mixes of flavors.

Cate’s World Kitchen – It seems like I save every one of Cate’s posts as a potential dinner recipe.

Confections of a Foodie Bride – Shawnda’s site is dangerous, as it started a months-long margarita addiction for me, but I can’t resist her impeccably styled photos.

Desserts for Breakfast – Beautiful photos and fun dessert recipes.

Ezra Pound Cake – Rebecca is funny. Who doesn’t like funny?

Hogwash – Jess balances her musings on life with offerings of earthy recipes.

Oishii Food – Brianna definitely eats like I eat – especially on Friday nights when we’re both enjoying pizza and beer.

Orangette – Everything Molly says is pretty.

Pink Parsley – Josie’s mix of savory and sweet recipes is right along the lines of what I love to read about – and to cook.

Seven Spoons – Tara loves food and she loves life.

Smitten Kitchen – If I had to pick one favorite food blog, this would be it.

Something Edible – I struggle to avoid writing blog entries like I would write a scientific document, plus Beau embraces that style in a very fun way.

Sprouted Kitchen – I was late to discovering this blog, but now that I’ve found it, it’s one of my favorites, for beautiful photography and interesting vegetarian recipes.

The Kitchen Sink – Such beautiful photos of such wonderful food.

Use Real Butter – Jen’s was the first food blog I ever read, and I keep coming back, not just for the professional-quality photography, but because of Jen.
